At Rip Charters we fish all year round, following the seasons to put you on the best catch of the day. Depending on the time of year, that might mean trolling for Australian salmon, casting for snapper, or chasing King George whiting, flathead, trevally and squid. Out wider, our Bass Strait swells are home to mako, blue whaler and thresher sharks, and when the kingfish arrive it's a season worth being on the water for.

Every trip is run by an experienced skipper and crew aboard our 42ft fly-bridge sports fisher, fully covered for all weather and fitted with the fish-finding, navigation and safety gear. Charters leave from Sorrento Pier, with pick-ups from Queenscliff Marina by arrangement, and run anywhere from 4 to 10 hours (our standard trip is 5). Just bring food, drink, sunblock, an eski for your catch and your fishing licence, and we'll handle the rest.
